Shane Harris obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and his Master of Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  During the 20+ years he has held his teaching certificate, 14 of those years have been spent in the classroom.  He also served as a Social Security/Disability Advocate for 5 years where he took a special interest in advocating for children.  Shane has taught History, Reading, Language Arts and Music in grades Kindergarten through High School as well as coaching Jr. High and High School soccer.

Shane has been married to his wife Tracie, a CPA at Sanders, Welch, Wallis & Holten in Chickasha, for 17 years.  They have two children, Sydney, age 16 and Hudson, age 14.  His hobbies include music and watching his kids play sports.

Shane has a passion for students and teachers and is excited to be a part of the Union City family.
